Boutique Hotel Photography – Sunny Place Resort in Porto Cheli, Greece

Vangelis Christidis is the owner of Sunny Place Resort in Thyni, Peloponnese, in Greece. He welcomes and treats his guests with great warmth as if they are family.

We, in Aspect Photo, have been fortunate enough to work with Vangelis and photograph the Sunny Place Resort for the purpose of updating and enriching his business presence online. Our photography has been used in order to update the website and to promote the boutique hotel on social media (Instagram & Facebook page) and on listing websites (Booking, Tripadvisor)

The particular photography project was a big challenge as time pressure was high and we had to photograph the boutique hotel in the best possible way avoiding any kind of technical failures concerning light. Also, because we were near the end of the summer season, we had a few limitations concerning styling part of the project.

Visiting Thyni and working there though, we learned that it belongs to the greater area of Porto Cheli in Peloponnisos, it is rich in local olive groves and that the Sunny Place Resort is surrounded by holiday properties owned by Greek and foreign Royal members, ship owners and business people. Thyni is the place where they find absolute harmony of nature and their privacy.

Advice from a professional boutique hotel photographer

  • spend your time constructively and consult a professional photographer in order to solve all your queries, provide you with all the necessary directions and photograph your hotel in a proper, neat and beautiful way
  • do not rely on the amateur and artistic concerns of a relative/friend/neighbour, even your own, who will photograph with a low-standard camera or a mobile phone. The downside of not using a professional photographer is high, as you will downplay the beautiful result of your work and of course you will most likely push away the good quality of potential clients
  • high quality in your photography is mirroring your personality. Choosing a professional photographer will attract you a better quality of candidate buyers and also will give your photos a longer life than the photos coming from an amateur photographer
